Identifying technological gaps/ needs for frugal innovations

We identify, analyze and benchmark the technological needs of grassroots through participatory process for developing frugal innovations in collaboration with innovators, industries, public sector and other stakeholders

Scouting & developing frugal innovations

We scout and source frugal innovations from R& D labs, academia, industries, universities, innovators and facilitate validation and value addition to innovations in practical and real life conditions with the participation of end users. We document, analyze and provide the insights, feedback and end user’s needs, and suggestions for improvement of technologies and modifications to technology providers.

Scaling up and dissemination of frugal innovations.

We map, sensitize and mobilize networks and develop and execute location specific diffusion strategies with technology providers through participatory process by involving various stakeholders to scale up the innovations with due emphasis on developing innovative business and diffusion models. We facilitate development and commercialization of innovations and identify promising entrepreneurs from local communities, mentor and empower them to start enterprises based on innovations.
